As usual, meeting with you is exactly what I needed. I’m starting to realize that yes, I am a decent writer and yes, I am a decent line editor. What I don’t know about is structuring a novel. You, thank God, do know how to structure a novel and for that I am unspeakably grateful.
I’m starting to understand what is necessary to get my manuscript where I want it to be. Boy, it’s hard, though, twisting my brain into places it hasn’t been before. It’s strangely exciting and I’m starting to feel more like a writer (and less like a career journalist) for the first time in my life.
